Emergency MacGyver job for myself. The cable on my overhead garage door handle snapped, locking all my tools inside.

Had to pry the outer trim off with a shovel from my yard, barely exposing the locking mechanisms, which I then had to carefully pick with a butter knife on both sides to gain entry.

Once inside I was able to run a new cable through the handle and latches to fix the door. After that, I simply reinstalled the trim to finish the job.

I've been doing a business training for the past four months and it's over on Monday, and I'm legit SAD ?? This is ridiculous lmao 😭

But it was a great training, I feel so much better and like I know where I want to go with my business, which is crazy because my new "big goal" is developing something around using creative writing & story building to practice French and like...I'm a writer. I can spend hours talking about how to create characters and stories. I literally take creative writing courses often and I do improv every week where we work on building stories and characters... How in goddamn hell did it take me 4 years to think of that lmao 🤡

Also the fact that my first EVER french teaching moment was animating a creative writing workshop in a social center for migrants, literally 6 years ago??? the wheel did a full spin i guess

Anyway this business training has been amazing idk how I'm gonna survive without them since I was constantly asking for validation and feedback (good student syndrom hello) but well

Also I guess this is my first kinda official announcement that I will be developing stuff around writing and creating stories in French (obv Im also continuing private language classes and conversation workshops!) ✨️
